Roles & Responsibilities:
- Engage in complete software development lifecycle (SDLC) utilizing Agile methodologies and sprint planning.
- Build end-to-end web applications using Java technologies for backend and modern JavaScript frameworks for frontend.
- Develop server-side logic and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.
- Create responsive and interactive user interfaces using Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Implement business logic and data access layers following industry best practices and design patterns.
- Work with relational and non-relational databases including query optimization, indexing, and stored procedures.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services into full stack applications.
- Use Git for source code management, including pull requests, code merging, and conflict resolution.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain applications on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Conduct unit testing and integration testing to ensure code quality and application reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects across both frontend and backend components.
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years progressive post-baccalaureate experience in lieu of Master’s) and 1 year experience as Java Full Stack Developer, Full Stack Developer, or related occupation.
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data).
- Proficiency in frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework (Angular/React/Vue.js).
- Experience with relational and non-relational database management systems.
- Proficiency with Git version control systems.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time.
