Software Engineer

• Participate in full software development lifecycle (SDLC) following Agile methodology.
• Design and develop scalable software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that meets industry standards.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Design and code programs based on technical specifications and business requirements.
• Develop and maintain applications using object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Work with relational & non-relational databases to design schemas, write complex queries, and optimize database performance.
• Utilize Git for version control, including branching strategies, merging, and managing code repositories.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), including configuration and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex technical issues across the application stack.
• Document technical designs, APIs, and system architecture for knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have a Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years progressive post-baccalaureate experience in lieu of Master’s) and 1 year experience as Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database management systems.
• Experience with Git version control systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time.
